The core component of the Alpha Model 165 series differential pressure sensor/transmitter is a capacitive pressure sensor. It consists of a stainless steel diaphragm and a fixed electrode that together form a capacitor whose capacitance varies with pressure. Utilizing Alpha’s proprietary patented technology, the carefully designed sensor and its unique detection circuit ensure excellent temperature performance and long-term stability.

The Alpha Model 165 differential pressure sensor/transmitter can be used to measure differential or gauge pressure, with standard outputs of 0–5V, 0–10V, and 4–20mA. Other output options are available upon customization. At room temperature, its accuracy is available in three grades: ±1.0%FS, 0.4%FS, or 0.25%FS. The device features a temperature compensation range from 4 ℃ to 77 ℃, with a temperature effect limited to less than ±0.05%FS/℃.
Thanks to its excellent performance‑to‑price ratio, the Alpha Model 165 is widely used in HVAC, environmental pollution control, clean engineering, medical instruments and equipment, oven pressurization and furnace pressure control, natural gas and pipeline network monitoring, underground ventilation, power plant wind pressure monitoring, and related fields.
