The core component of the Alpha Model 164 series differential pressure sensor/transmitter is a capacitive pressure sensor, which consists of a stainless steel diaphragm and a fixed electrode that together form a variable capacitor. Leveraging Alpha's proprietary patented technology, the sensor’s design and its unique detection circuit ensure excellent temperature performance and long-term stability.

The Alpha Model 164 differential pressure sensor/transmitter can be used
to measure differential or gauge pressure. It offers standard output
options of 0–5V, 0–10V, and 4–20mA, with other outputs available for
customization. At room temperature, the accuracy of Model 164 is
available in three grades: ±1.0%FS, 0.4%FS, or 0.25%FS. The device
supports a temperature compensation range of 4 ℃ to 77 ℃, with a
temperature effect limited to less than ±0.05%FS/℃.
With its
excellent performance-price ratio, the Alpha Model 164 is widely used in
HVAC, environmental pollution control, clean engineering, medical
instruments and equipment, oven pressurization and furnace pressure
control, natural gas and pipeline network monitoring, underground
ventilation, power plant wind pressure monitoring, and other related
