The core component of the Alpha Model 167 series differential pressure sensor/transmitter is a capacitive pressure sensor. It consists of a stainless steel diaphragm paired with a fixed electrode to form a capacitor whose capacitance varies with applied pressure. Utilizing Alpha's specialized patented technology, the sensor and its dedicated detection circuit are precisely engineered to ensure excellent temperature performance and long-term stability.

The Alpha Model 167 differential pressure sensor/transmitter is
capable of measuring both differential and gauge pressure. It offers
standard output options of 0–5V, 0–10V, and 4–20mA, with customized
outputs available upon request. At room temperature, the device achieves
accuracy levels of ±1.0%FS, 0.4%FS, or 0.25%FS. Temperature
compensation is supported across a range of 4 ℃ to 77 ℃, with
temperature effects maintained below ±0.05%FS/℃.
With its
outstanding performance-price ratio, the Alpha Model 167 is widely
applied across fields including HVAC, environmental pollution control,
clean engineering, medical instruments and equipment, oven
pressurization and furnace pressure control, natural gas and pipeline
