Infrared thermopile gas sensors measure the concentration of
carbon dioxide by detecting changes in the resistance of their internal
thermistor elements. The product is packaged in a TO-46 metal housing
with a window equipped with a narrow-bandpass filter specifically
selected for CO₂ gas detection. Inside, an infrared filter, thermistor,
and other electronic components are integrated, offering advantages such
as high reliability and high sensitivity.
