The core component of the Alpha Model 175 series differential pressure sensor/transmitter is a capacitive pressure sensor, which consists of a stainless steel diaphragm and a fixed electrode that form a capacitor whose capacitance varies with applied pressure. Employing Alpha's specialized patented technology, the sensor and its unique detection circuit are carefully engineered to deliver reliable temperature performance and long-term stability

The Alpha Model 175 differential pressure sensor/transmitter can measure both differential and gauge pressure, offering standard output options of 0–5V, 0–10V, and 4–20mA, with customized outputs available upon request. Its accuracy at room temperature is available in three grades: ±1.0%FS, 0.4%FS, or 0.25%FS. The device supports a temperature compensation range from 4 ℃ to 77 ℃, with a temperature effect limited to less than ±0.05%FS/℃.
Thanks to its excellent performance‑price ratio, the Alpha Model 175 is widely used in applications such as HVAC, environmental pollution control, clean engineering, medical instruments and equipment, oven pressurization and furnace pressure control, natural gas and pipeline network monitoring, underground ventilation, and power plant wind pressure monitoring.
