The core component of the Alpha Model 162 series differential pressure sensor/transmitter is a capacitive pressure sensor, which consists of a stainless steel diaphragm and a fixed electrode to form a capacitor whose capacitance varies with pressure. Leveraging Alpha’s proprietary patented technology, the sensor and its unique detection circuit are carefully designed to ensure excellent temperature performance and long-term stability.

The Alpha Model 162 differential pressure sensor/transmitter can measure differential or gauge pressure, offering standard output options of 0‑5V, 0‑10V, and 4‑20mA, with other outputs available for customization. At room temperature, its accuracy can reach ±1.0%FS, 0.4%FS, or 0.25%FS. The temperature compensation range spans from 4 ℃ to 77 ℃, with a temperature effect limited to below ±0.05%FS/℃.
